Dr. Sonia Francis-Rolle joined the South Fulton Republican Women's Club in 2017. She later served as president of the South Fulton Republican Women's Club from 2020–2023. She currently serves as president of the newly formed charter, The Federated Republican Women of Fulton County, established in 2023.

Dr. Francis-Rolle served two terms as Secretary of the Fulton County Republican Party and as Vice-Chair of the Fulton County Republican Women's Club for two years. She has run for various political offices, including State School Superintendent, Fulton County Commissioner, and Mayor of the City of South Fulton.

Dr. Francis-Rolle owns an educational consulting business and serves as a Professional Editor for Saint Leo University.
